Raymond is found semi-conscious in the motel then taken to the nearest emergency room for a checkup. Raymond is then laid on a stretcher and left unattended to for 6 hours before receiving their examination. The inefficiency and the poor quality of care is the number of hours taken for the patient to be examined. The personnel required to offer the medications have failed on the services they provide. Again, the institution should have an emergency unit where when a patient is received and needs quick responses; they are quickly attended to as a priority to providing quality services.

Secondly, the patient should have been examined and treated for the various cholesterol and hypertension conditions (Katakam et al., 2008). The treatment on the two states should have occurred immediately after finding out that Raymond had a stroke. Afterward, Raymond would have been able to talk and perform interactions with the medics then transferred to the rehabilitation facility. Also, the first immediate facility should have offered a brief on Raymond’s condition and the treatments he was offered before transferring him to the rehabilitation facility.

Firstly, there is a need for the emergency team to respond to such cases in the motel quickly. The motel's emergency team should be quick as they also call the necessary emergency medical team to respond to any situations that arise. Secondly, when the examination and treatment are made, and an identification of stroke or any other conditions are found, the immediate facility’s personnel need to ensure that the patient is not in any danger. Quality care is vital in any medical facility (Shi & Singh, 2014). Lastly, when the transfer to the rehabilitation facility is made, a detailed medical history and the patient's current condition need to be processed for effective briefs to the rehabilitation center.
