It assists healthcare organizations to meet their goals in coasts, quality and universal healthcare access. Healthcare organizations must improve the quality of healthcare services and be in a position to effectively compete in the healthcare market in order to survive in today’s competition. The comprehensive organizational plans aim to protect healthcare organizations in the competitive market. Through its five planning stages which are competitive, financial, facilities, human resource and marketing, it assists healthcare organizations in promoting quality healthcare services. 

The model is suitable for any type of healthcare organization. It provides a platform for decision making and enables healthcare organizations to minimize their costs. Such organizations get in a position to survive competition. It protects and serves healthcare organizations making it possible for healthcare organizations to survive in the competitive healthcare environment. In addition to that, it provides guidance on the way forward for such organizations by giving them direction on how to thrive and achieve their goals.

Another component of the organizational plan is the healthcare technology (Demirkan, 2013) . It helps organizations stay at pace with the current technological advances. It serves as a bottom line determinant in healthcare organizations as it determines whether such organizations are likely to thrive in competition. It also helps organizations to come up with unique products that are different from the ones produced by their competitors. For costs, the organizational plan promotes the competitive model in that an organization can produce unique goods and it provides marketing plan to enhance quality in healthcare organizations. It as well offers human resource plan. It is a clear indicator of excellent quality healthcare delivery in healthcare organizations.
