Implementation of new information systems in a provider organization can lead to a push back for the people using the scheme being introduced. Many people will resist change and even get confused, which is a common reaction. The organization should, therefore, prepare the employees and soften the blow through training. Different training systems are usually used to help employees get more knowledge and to keep up with the changes. Among learning systems used to train employees is the health stream learning management system ( Hayes & Heyd, 2015) . This paper aims to identify the kind of training that is provided in my organization when a new information system is implemented while identifying whether the nurses are involved in its implementation.

Since most new information systems have new tools, sections, improved processes that allow the organization to increase productivity in the future while minimizing errors, training of the nurses is required especially on how to use the tools, buttons, and even processes. During the training, we are given access to the trial version of the new information system, and the objectives of the latest information system are also outlined to ensure all nurses work towards the same goal.

Evaluating a new information system implemented in an organization helps gauge how well the information system meets the objectives and expectations. In my organization, just as the nurse is considered and included in the implementation process, so are they involved in the evaluation process of the system. The effectiveness of the new information system can be identified through goal-based evaluation in which the output of the nurses from the use of the new systems is associated with the defined goals during implementation ( Hayes & Heyd, 2015) . The nurses submit their reports every week, enabling the management to know how effective the information system is.

The interaction between the nurses who are the users and the new information systems is also used for evaluation, and this is possible if the nurses are involved through submitting their reports. The nurses are also involved in assessment through being required to provide feedback on their experiences, challenges, and recommendations which help to control and recognize critical areas of the new information system projects. Acknowledging and managing essential regions is a crucial element of the evaluation process that nurses are a part of ( Wadsworth, 2016) .

Investing in the training of the employees allows health proving organizations to identify the benefits which arise from the implementation of the information system. In my organization, upon the introduction of a new information system, a health stream training system is usually used to train the employees before the application of the information system is started. Health stream as a training system is appropriate for healthcare providers and employees ( Wadsworth, 2016) . The system is used by all the nurses in my organization to undertake elective and mandatory training. The training system helps us, as nurses, to meet the regulatory needs of education.

Through the resources and courses that the training system provides, we as the nurses get to learn about the information system since material regarding its use is updated in the policy. Training on the use of the information system is mandatory for all the nurses in my organization with learning assignments being offered as well as opportunities to retake the training to make sure that continued learning is enhanced ( Wadsworth, 2016) . The training that the organization provides is usually online, and one can complete the training at their time due to the hospital's busy schedule.
