A vision in the test includes integrating business intelligence systems by building data warehouses and data applications in healthcare institutions. The vision will be achieved through the acquisition and transformation of data to insightful and actionable information by conducting analytics. It will support the development of business in the future. Kouzes and Posner’s framework will be applicable to clarify the vision by modeling a way in which the vision will be achieved (Nelson & Staggers, 2018). The institution will install the internet and hire IT experts who will be in charge. The vision will then be shared with the employees. Training programs may be offered to the workers so that they can understand the vision and contribute to its future success.

In healthcare, the leader should recognize information should be kept “sacred.” It is essential to observe the confidentiality and privacy law as that shapes the growth of the agency. Such information which is held sacred includes the patients’ data and how the department is run and allocation of resources.

I would recommend the leader to apply the principle of Kouzes and Posner’s framework formulating the vision in their department. The vision should be exciting, uplifting, and with a meaning, future to motivate employees in the department about what they expect to achieve (Nelson & Staggers, 2018). Enlisting the values interests, dreams, and hopes of other departments in the institution will help share a shared vision. In that way, the vision will be guiding everyone towards shared goals, and that will shape future growth. The leader has to ensure that the vision is communicated clearly and concisely. It will be defining the future direction the department will take this should be understood. It will also guide the workers on what is expected of them, and motivating them to work harder towards future goals.
