Good morning chair and panel members. My name is Fenghao Tang from China. I am pursuing Masters of Science in Finance at Loyola University Chicago, Chicago IL which I expect to complete in June 2019. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Finance. I have also completed 132 credit hours in business administration at Nanjing University, Nanjing China in July 2014. I relocated to the US in August 2014 to pursue further studies in finance at the University of Oklahoma which I started in September the same year.
I have made numerous achievements at the school and the different places of work. I have received three certificates for my role in active participation in outdoor games and for being an organizing member of the running club at the University of Oklahoma. I have also been recognized as the best intern in China Construction Bank for my exemplary performance as assistant international settlements and sales manager. Loyola University has nominated me together with three other students to participate in the domestic students' running competition to be held in late September. Lastly, I have gained recognition from OU Food Services for my loyalty and dedication (Mahmood, 2014; Torrington & Taylor, 2017).

I pride myself to be self-motivating, hardworking, dedicated towards my work a quick learner and a strong team builder. I actively engage in orienting new students to the University and offered guidance to over one hundred students on the campus environment and course information. As an athlete, I have organized weekly training sessions for thirty members and assisted in attracting ten new members and designing training programs for individuals (Mahmood, 2014; Torrington & Taylor, 2017).
I have found self-satisfaction from my two main hobbies; running and swimming. During my free times, I spend most of my time in either of the activity and engaging others with similar aspirations has made it possible to exploit our potential. My engagement in the two events has helped in shaping the life of some of the students who have taken sports as a career and are excelling at state and national levels (Mahmood, 2014; Torrington & Taylor, 2017).
My short term goal is to get employed in a reputable organization with a solid performance and prospects for growth. I would like to be part of the team that adds value and assist the enterprise in fulfilling its short term objectives. I believe that my previous experience in the three organizations I have worked in coupled with my academic qualifications best place me in the position to drive the performance of your company. My hobbies and vast skills are what the position requires and will contribute to achieving improved performance. My exposure to different cultures coupled with my engagement in the university at various levels will be an added advantage to a multinational corporation like yours (Goerg, 2015; Torrington & Taylor, 2017).
My long term goal is to learn everything about finance and to work in a multinational company that is responsive to the changing market. I would like to give my best to the organization to help it achieve its medium and long term goals. I desire to be the head of finance where I can use my skill and experience to support the department and the entire organization achieve its full potential by availing best practices and involving teams to explore new areas. I would support the company in developing its strategic plans and formulating excellent investment options (Goerg, 2015; Torrington & Taylor, 2017).
I have worked in China Construction Bank for six months and at OU food services for over two years. Additionally, I have worked in Huaxia Bank for three months. I have been engaged in the three companies as an intern at different levels. At China Construction Bank, I have worked as an international settlement for three months. In this position, I settled payments with bills of exchange, cheques, and promissory notes. I also prepared L/C and sorted out documents for the customers.
In the same organization, I have worked as an assistant sales manager for three months. In the position, I enhanced overall mortgage clientele by thirty percent through telephonic marketing. I also trained a group of five employees on bank procedures and cash drawer handling protocols.
AT OU Food Services I was the supervisor from October 2014 to May 2017. In my capacity, I boosted the efficiency of the team by introducing job shift and rotation. Similarly, I took customer orders and relayed the same to the kitchen staff. I was responsible for overseeing food preparation and general cleaning. At Huaxia Bank Yancheng Branch China, I was an intern as a teller. At the position, I carried out client requests and offered financial services information. I also handled the cash drawer and oversaw ATM operations.
My skill includes a Fluent Mandarin and English speaker. I am also experienced in using Microsoft office packages including word, access, excel, powerpoint, publisher, and outlook. I have strong leadership skills which can be demonstrated by my previous engagements in the university (Mahmood, 2014; Torrington & Taylor, 2017).
I am self-motivated, strong communicator, and capable of working under pressure to achieve desired goals. I believe in professionalism, honesty and integrity and loyalty. I pride myself on being dependable, responsible and adaptable to changing environments. In all my engagements, I usually have self-confidence and ready to solve emerging problems to achieve the desired goals. I like being helpful, respectful, team-oriented and approachable by all to builds a strong working relationship with colleagues to develop a positive work environment (Mahmood, 2014; Torrington & Taylor, 2017).
I believe that given a chance, I would exploit my academic, work experience, skills and competency for the betterment of the firm. I believe in continuous learning and being responsive to changing needs. My natural enthusiasm to work in teams will make me an invaluable asset for your organization.
