Test Requirements for Model PM3100
On the selector knob, select “OFF.”
Connect the regulator to a source with 21 InHg capability at 100LPM
Switch the knob of the regulator to the “REG” position.
Make sure the bottom port of the regulator is blocked.
Use the regulator knob and turn clockwise to increase vacuum and then anticlockwise reduce vacuum then back to zero to ensure the smooth movement of the knob and the movement corresponds to the needle movement on the gauge.
Plug in the calibrated vacuum gauge to the inlet port.
Turn the knob on the regulator to the “LINE” position.
Set the desired vacuum to +/- 5% within the 55 mmHg and make sure the calibrated gauge reading is within the range.

Ensure the calibrated vacuum gauge reading is in the +/- 5% range of full scale by setting it at 140mmHg.
Set the regulator gauge to 200 mmHg and make sure that the calibrated vacuum gauge values range within +/- 5% of the full scale.
Hook a calibrated vacuum flow gauge.
Move the regulator knob on the regulator all the way clockwise.
Make sure the flow is greater or equal to 51 LPM.
Move the selector knob on the vacuum regulator to “LINE.”
Ensure the flow is greater or equal to 55 LPM.
Turn the regulator off by moving the position of the knob to the OFF position.
Disconnect the flow gauge.
Move the regulator knob fully anticlockwise.
Disconnect the regulator from the vacuum source and troubleshoot if any of the checks do not meet the required specifications.
