Gestures are used to express particular feelings or stress points. One of the films where gestures have been used is Captain America. There are various examples where gestures have been used in this film. For example, Steve, the main character uses his hands to express himself and drive points home when communicating to his teammates or any other individual in the film ( Pease & Pease 2016).
Another gesture that is common in this film is the head nod. The head nod has been used to communicate silently to other people. For example, in one of the scenes where Steve and his teammates had been ambushed by mercenaries, he used the head to signal to one of the members to attack one of the mercenaries and thereby throw him off balance ( Pease & Pease 2016).
