Everyone is likely to encounter an ethical dilemma in the workplace. In the past 12 months, about 30% of employees have observed misconduct (Reid & Jamieson, 2018) . Recently the headlines on ethical issues, especially those related to sexual harassment and discrimination, have introduced unethical conduct at the workplace. So there is a need to create awareness of the unethical dilemmas in the workplace. When one encounters unethical behaviors at work, you are then faced with an ethical dilemma. According to Leppard (2018) , when somebody is a victim of unethical behavior, the first action that they take is to blow the whistle on the behavior. But this is not the best way to approach unethical behavior, for it may victimize you. And this indicates an ethical dilemma. Here are some ways that one can use to work on ethical dilemmas without risking their jobs or even risking their ethics.

First of all, when one encounters an ethical dilemma, they should repeat back and clarify. This is achieved by telling the manager what you think. The request will give complete clarity. This may be a solution to the problem, and the manager might rethink their request (Reid & Jamieson, 2018) . If providing your request does not work, then you can go ahead and ask a question. One can ask the supervisor about the reason and motivation behind their request. This can then help in acting on an ethical dilemma.
