Human development covers a wide scope of sectors dealing with human needs especially health and education sectors. In Qatar, the health sector has been tremendously improved to modern standards providing holistic care (Kuhn, 2012). Notably, both public and private hospitals are guided by a national policy that monitors the standards of operation. This involves ensuring that highly skilled workers are hired to provide quality of high standards in health care. Moreover, there is promotion of research on health that seeks to enhance the effectiveness of health care as well as its quality (Weber, 2014). The government has also made the cost of medical services affordable to all from children to youth, from men to women as part of the policy on partnering with public inn meeting costs of accessing health care (Neumayer, 2012). On the other hand, the education system has been raised to be at par with international standards. This is essential in readying students of Qatar to face the global atmosphere confidently and competently tackling various areas such as entrepreneurship, information technology and innovations in all professions. In addition, an education system meeting international standards coupled with equal chances will go a long way in propelling the Qatari fraternity to greater capacity of building the Qatari nation and its economy.

Social and economic change in Qatar has impacted youth development where the education system incorporates both formal and informal training programs that arm the youth with technical and non-technical skills (Richer, 2015). These skills motivate the Qatari youth to make their contribution to the country’s economy. Moreover, it has inculcated a sense of belonging to the youth thus their continued participation in sports and cultural activities. In the same manner, the youth have had their creativity and innovativeness boosted through the promotion and funding of research.
