How to Improve the Effectiveness and Efficiency of Production

Improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of production requires motivation at the workplace. As such, killers of motivation should be identified and be eliminated. A good manager should have ways of observing the workplace and identify the areas of a problem that massively affect the motivation of employees (Mankin, 2009). Addressing the factors that kill motivation such as the absence of organizational vision, toxic individuals, personalities that are abrasive, weak systems of communication, autocratic styles of management, and the feeling of not appreciating one's efforts will improve the production of employees. Additionally, a firm that strives at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of production should responsibly use technology, develop the skills of the employees and set standards that the employees should achieve. How to Improve Employee Satisfaction with the Quality of their Work

Employee satisfaction in an organization arises when the employees are given the first consideration instead of giving the priority to the customers. What makes a company good is the kind of people that work for it (McGuire, 2014). As such, employee satisfaction can be achieved when the company respects them, listen to their needs, allow room for creativity, develop the skills of the employees, encourage the employees’ personalities, and also create a good environment at the workplace. Additionally, employee satisfaction can be achieved by rewarding employees based on their achievements, provide promotions to the employees who have served in the organization for long without favoritism, and also discourage the use of uniforms. It is also imperative to note that employee satisfaction can be improved by always paying them in time and not undermining workers in public.

How to improve the ability of the Organization to Revitalize and develop Overtime

Maximization of the organizational effectiveness via the best utilization of its resources improves the ability of an organization to revitalize and develop over time. Improvement can be carried out by ensuring the well-being of its employees through planned intrusions. The hiring of professional and skilled employees will make sure that an organization develops (Saxena, 2016). Additionally, there should be streamlined objectives and visions that the organization strives at accomplishing. The organization should make a diagnosis of the environment and determine the willingness of the audience that is targeted to acknowledge the change. Development of an action map by identifying certain target variables will help in improving the ability of an organization to revitalize and develop over time if the strategies for use are identified and plans implemented. Additionally, the improvement can be made through evaluation of the results of the strategies so as to determine if there is change that has taken place. Also, observation of a strong culture of an organization such as leadership continuity improves the development of an organization over time.

Improving the Organizational Processes and Outputs

Improving the outputs of an organization will require that the organization’s inputs be effective. Such inputs will involve selecting the structure of the organization, the roles of the structure, training and recruitment of the staff, and the development of corporate culture (McGuire, 014). It is imperative to note that selection of the employees of an organization, the structure of the team, and the overall culture and structure of the organization plays a critical role when it comes to improving the organizational processes and outputs. On the other hand, the processes of an organization that involves assigning of the tasks of an organization to employees, determining the tasks that will aid in accomplishing the organization’s objectives and organizing the employees in a framework of decision making can be improved if well conducted. Improvements can be made by constantly reviewing plans and objectives of the organization as well as determining the task activities that are essential to meet the objectives. Additionally, the improvement can be a success if the organization finds a way of grouping and classifying essential task activities into units that are manageable. Moreover, assigning tasks and delegating authority as well as designing a chain of command of associations can play an important role kin improving the organizational processes and outputs.

How to Measure the Success of the Improvement Efforts

The measurement of the improvements in an organization can be done through the analysis of the company’s output and the manner in which the company’s employees respond to the activities that are allocated to them. The completion of the tasks by the employees at the stipulated time and ensuring that the company meets its objectives and realize its vision is an indication that the employees do not suffer from any dissatisfaction that can hinder their activities (Saxena, 2016). Moreover, the company will also be able to measure its success if it is doing fine against its competitors and if it is frequently meeting the demands of its customers. An increase in a company’s output and sales is an indication that the improvements in a company are bringing success.

Concluding Remarks

It is imperative to note that effective and efficient production will be realized in a firm if there is the use of the state of the art technology and employee satisfaction that can be fulfilled by ensuring that the above-mentioned factors are met. As such, the processes and outputs of a firm will realize improvements.
