In Mrs. C’s case, the key socio-economic factors include low income due to her part-time work at the grocery store insufficient at meeting the home and medical needs. Also, although unwell, former husband provides minimal child support making care provision hard. Likewise, Mrs. C is a single mother with the duty of taking care of three children, sister, and mother. The noted healthy factors include the illness state of Mrs. C diagnosed with colon cancer, mother suffering from stroke and Alzheimer’s disease and sister disabled. Finally, there is the no health insurance with inability of permanent job and only works part-time in grocery store. 

One major stressor for Mrs. C is the recent divorce with the responsibility of three children. Secondly, the other stressor entails the illnesses ranging from her colon cancer demanding funds for the bowel resection in three weeks and care for her mother ailing from stroke and Alzheimer. As a single mother, the overwhelming duties hence profoundly affect the well-being and normal functioning Mrs. C and family. Conversely, the demand to lend a hand to the disabled sister with a 10-year-old boy adds to the stress. In summary, Mrs. C stressed on taking care of herself, mother, children, sister or her part-time job at the grocery store.

The critical nursing interventions in Mrs. C's care involves ensuring completion of medication prescribed by the doctor; avoid heavy lifting, rest for 2-3 days and allow help from relatives or children. It is good for the family to undertake follow-up care to avoid illness re-occurrence. Likewise, providing therapy for her disabled sister thrice a day is vital in better body shape. As an excellent advice, the family should keep a properly balanced diet and engage in daily physical exercise as means of preventative care. Conversely, although the Mrs. C and her family are financially unstable, community resources have a vital role in health promotion. The family can access community libraries and learn about proper preventive measures in dealing with health concerns. Moreover, using public recreational facilities for exercising helps prevent subsequent heart conditions. Lastly, using charity homes, free community clinics and seeking help for her Alzheimer mother is vital for help from well-wishers at zero or minimal costs.
