No, they are not wrong. First of all, we should not be in a position to judge the super-intelligent aliens for harbouring the desire to eat human beings. As a matter of fact, it is only the vegetarians that abstain from the mass murder that the rest of us conduct when we slaughter other animals for the sake of consuming them. The reality is that the meat processing industry out there puts to task a host of inhumane and cruel methods to ensure we have the canned meat available in supermarkets and store shelves. Most of us do not actually care which method is employed to deliver the meat to our dining tables. Humans like to imagine that they are superior to all other creatures on Earth because of their intelligence. According to Nathaniel Cabrol, a leading scientist in the hunt for alien life, the limited view of the universe that humans possess could explain why we are encountering massive difficulty in trying to find intelligent life (Zolfagharifard, 2015). It is implied that the aliens are more intelligent than humans. From that perspective, therefore, we should not hope for a better treatment from a race of superior creatures.

Taking the example of a food web, it is apparent that one creature cannot judge another for hunting it down and eating it. It is only biological. For instance, does the cow judge man? When the super-intelligent aliens are introduced to the food web, there is an expected change in man’s position. It does not matter whether humans feel it is wrong for the aliens to eat them or not, the aliens will still eat them if they choose to. After all, the humans will have the choice of either resisting or allowing themselves to be eaten peacefully. Therefore, according to the laws of nature, it is not wrong for the super-intelligent aliens to eat humans.
