Part 1
The subject of academic research and assignments Master's level at universities of applied science reflects more on supporting the teaching offered while seeking to contribute to the development of a professional approach with regard to applied science. The research and assignments that students are engaged in provided them with a clear understanding of what is expected of them from a professional perspective. Additionally, the research and assignments serve as key platforms through which students are able to apply everything that they have learned within a professional environment. In most cases, the students find it much easier in their bid to applying the information that they have studied when engaging in studies and while conducting their assignments. Ultimately, this provides them with a clear understanding of key areas that they may not have grasped effectively.
On the other hand, it must be noted that academic research and assignments are vital towards evaluating a student’s ability to understand, apply, as well as, analyze information in a manner that is reflective of the information studied. Universities of applied science provide students with professional skills that would help them work in intensive professional environments. Consequently, this means that the students ought to build on their respective capacities to understand, apply, and actually analyze the information that they are given. The position that this creates reflects more on the need to have each of the students in universities of applied science engage in more research and assignments. That would mean that the students would have both theoretical and practical expertise on how to apply the information that they utilize as part of their capacities to deliver.

The aim of the academic assignment is to promote sustainable development with the focus being on construction project management. The assignment seeks to evaluate some of the key expectations towards ensuring that construction projects remain relevant to environmental, economic, and social perspectives while taking into account the need for the projects to occur in a responsible manner. The assignment will evaluate some of the key procedures and measures that would need to be utilized as part of the overall process through which to maximize on the sustainability of the construction projects. Engagement in this assignment allows for a basic understanding of how construction projects would be expected to look like in future considering that a majority of projects often reflect on the idea of sustainability as a key measure. The assignment will highlight some of the ways through which construction projects would be able to guarantee sustainability.
The main scientific methods used in Master's study programmes include observation, question, hypothesis, prediction, experiment, result, and conclusion. The main purpose of the scientific methods is to help in testing a hypothesis that has been presented as part of a given study. In each of the scientific methods, the researcher is expected to evaluate a specific aspect regarding the hypothesis to determine whether indeed the hypothesis can be categorized as being true or false. The use of the scientific methods in Master’s study programmes is driven by the fact that most of these programmes require the students to apply very specific aspects regarding the subjects or topics that they study. Consequently, this means that the students would be expected to use the scientific methods in a bid to engaging in studies that would allow them to put their skills into use.
Part 2
The Subject
The subject of the assignment is the implementation of smart contracts in construction project management. The main idea behind the subject is that it would be essential to reflect on the general expectations when dealing with smart contracts as they relate to construction project management. The assignment seeks to explore how project managers would be able to make use of smart contracts in a bid to ensuring that they create projects that would reflect on the best possible outcomes.
Methodology Used
The assignment reflects on the use of three key methodologies as a way of balancing the general outcomes of the study while maximizing on the information that is expected as part of the assignment. The three methodologies are literature review of existing knowledge, design science approach, and evaluation of case studies. Each of these methodologies presents a different expectation in terms of overall capacity to deliver on the best possible outcomes in meeting the project goals.
Possible/Hypothetical Results
The possible results from the study reflect on the fact that indeed the use of smart contracts would serve as one of the key ways through which project managers would be able to maximize on their capacities to deliver on set goals in project management. In most cases, this means that the project managers would be in a position allowing them to make use of the contracts to their advantage while creating the best possible framework for success.

Part 3
Personally, I have been able to use scientific methods as part of my academic studies, which has provided me with a vast level of exposure towards understanding the advantages of using such methods as part of research. I would say that my use of these methods has allowed me to build on a rather positive framework through which I have been able to maximize on the best possible expectations in ensuring that I deliver on my project goals. Although I have encountered a wide array of challenges in using some of the scientific methods, I would argue that from a general perspective these methods are essential towards building on one’s ability to deliver on the best possible results in any given scientific study.
My main expectation in the use of scientific methods is that I would be able to make use of vast number of methods to increase on my experience in using some of these methods. I tend to believe that this would be essential for me in building my capacity towards becoming a better researcher and professional in my field of study. Additionally, I believe that engaging with more scientific methods would serve as one of the key factors that would enhance overall capacity for me to learn the different ways through which I would be able to apply what I have studied. Regarding the role of science in a Master's programme, I have very high expectations in terms of ensuring that I am able to deliver on best possible results as a way of ensuring that I am actually able to meet set out goals and objectives.
