Critical thinking is one of the fundamental elements that act as the compass of human behaviour, belief and character in contemporary society. The tenets of critical thinking involve a rational thought process of a specific particular issue by evaluating its various aspects using the raw data available on it. Consequentially, through critical thinking, a person logically questions whether or not what he believes in is rational towards helping them arrive at the correct decision. In more precise terms, critical thinking is the basis by which an individual takes an in-depth dive into their reality and constructively conceptualizes the most beneficial path or decision process that they should follow (Facione, & Facione, 2013). According to various philosophers, critical thinking creates the personal beliefs that guide the way that one behaves and lives their life. Thus, critical thinkers understand the value of an in-depth analytical review of the essential set of guiding principles that guide one’s life (Butler & Halpern, 2020). As a result, they are in a position determined and accurately hypothesize not only the benefits of the correct philosophical paradigm but also the negative impact that the wrong beliefs or preconceived ideas may trigger negative influences in their life. Simply put, critical thinking is not just knowing what one should do but also putting in to practice because without the latter, then the former lacks its value on one life. Arguably, all their conclusion heavily rely on facts (Considered as absolute truths on a specific phenomenon) to arrive at conclusions

The aptitude of critical thinking is the very foundation of life itself, and thus it is fundamental to the cognitive processes of people in all aspects of life. In retrospect, critical thinking is the asset that many people use to overcome the various limitations in their being created by wrong perceptions and beliefs about a particular phenomenon in their life. In light of this acknowledgement, it is of great value that the human mind functions towards the creation of harmony with life itself. In the most part, critical thinking is the instrument and tool that drives the social paradigm in the creation of thought processes. The adaption of an individual in the world where we are continually facing with various issues ranging from personal problems to those related to careers requires the use of critical thinking to find an amicable solution that is sound and viable (Sosa-Provencio et al., 2018). From this paradigm, the significance of critical thinking is best understood in the way that it applies to the individual personal life, social life and professional life.
