In-N-Out has been one of the top companies in recent years. This ranking has been basically on how employees rated it. Employees find pleasure in working at In-N-Out because of various reasons. Some of the identified reasons are people-oriented leadership and a positive environment for all employees. In-N-Out is built on a foundation that stresses the need to have supportive leadership. This has been its culture since its inception and gets better every year. The leadership at In-N-Out has been able to identify employees as the primary factor of their success. This is an aspect that has further facilitated the need to have leadership that will encompass the needs of the employees as the priority.

The culture of the company is known to incorporate and advance the needs of its staffs as one of the ways to achieve its goals. The leadership, therefore, has been able to ensure that its employees are paid more than the minimum wages in the industry. The providence of more than the minimum wage in the respective industry has made employees more productive and loyal to the company. This is because the company is able to address all the concerns that would otherwise affect the productivity of its employees. In addition, the minimum wages has also ensured that In-N-Out Company attracts the best workers in the job market.

The leadership strategies have also extended beyond monetary values. In-N-Out leadership has been able to explore other areas that are significant in boosting the morale of employees. One of the utilized areas has been non-working activities such as a paid vacation. Employees who are attached to In-N-Out have vacations paid for them. Secondly, In-N-Out leadership provides a flexible working schedule for its employees (Moore, 2017). Considering the customer base that In-N-Out employees serve, it is evident that they may get exhausted without a proper schedule. The leadership of In-N-Out has been able to solve this issue by creating a more flexible schedule. Another factor that has created a positive environment at In-N-Out is the ability of its leaders to focus on promotion from within. This is an important aspect that has ensured that In-N-Out retains its top talents and encourages the rest of the employees.

The culture of In-N-Out provides employees with an opportunity to acquire effective skills while working. This is achieved through the on-the-job training that it offers to its employees. This is an implication that employees are equipped with skills that align with the strategies and the goals of the company. The mission of the company tops up as an additional factor for a positive environment for employees. This is because it focuses its address on a team-oriented approach boosted by people-focused leadership.

The influence of people-focused leadership has been identified as one of the best motives for employee satisfaction. At In-N-Out, the leadership provides an employee with the most appropriate feedback, an aspect that further provides an opportunity to learn and grow. The leaders at In-N-Out are groomed from within. This is to suggest that the company does not employ leaders from outside, but make them from the existing employees (Michaels, 2017). This has been regarded as one of the most effective choices of having good leaders at In-N-Out. This is because the leaders have the experience and expertise needed to lead other employees. They understand the culture of the company and apply them effectively. Leaders are trained and selected on their levels of flexibility to adapt and implement arising changes in the company. These are some of the factors that have significantly promoted the image of In-N-Out as far as employee satisfaction is concerned.
