When it comes to making of decisions, leaders in healthcare are required to utilize data management systems. The healthcare system relies on their skills to assess data integrity and quality. The nurse leaders are expected to provide leadership in the implementation and adoption of information systems. 

Considering their concern and aim is to cater for the needs of the patients, the leader should be experienced in identifying technological issues, trends, and latest developments as they apply to patient care. Their priority should be on the way they will join hands to establish information technology resources with the healthcare system. Expectedly, nurse leaders are supposed to participate in evaluating required technology in healthcare settings.
