Over the past years, the use of technology has been significantly embraced in the nursing world hence leading to increased efficiency and professionalism. This is due to the useful information provided to the administrators. One of how the administrators are informed about the novel technology is through increased research. On this note, the administrators engage in studies to discover new inventions that are aimed at changing the nursing world. The other informative approach is through adaptive learning an interactive practices which allow them to increase their benchmarking procedures hence acquiring relevant knowledge on the new technologies within the industry (Sowan & Idhail, 2014). There are also forums and campaigns held by the respective nursing boards in conjunction with the government to educate the nursing administrators on the novel technology. The nursing informatics and advancements in technology have translated into the development of a vast array of systems across the industry. It is for this reason that the administrators have to engage in the active selection processes of a particular system over another depending on its efficiency and productivity, As such, the method involves competent and consensual decision-making approaches. In this case, the professionals have to determine which system is the most appropriate to a particular context over the other while also considering the aspects of cost, time, and efficiency. The other selection process is the evaluation stage. At this stage, the administrators have to determine the risks associated with the selected system as well as the expected outcomes. Lastly, nursing administrators also engage in the implementation process which involves the execution of the system as it applies to the intended context. It is at this point that the system is put to use to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the nursing services and patient experiences.
