The article, Introduction to Numerical Computing , seeks to make the learner understand all the information needed for numerical computing. The article delves into showing the different solutions that can be solved using numerical computing. Additionally, it shows numerical computing techniques that are vital in addressing arithmetic operations. Arithmetic operations are the operations that require mathematical problems and the formulation so that they can be solved amicably and in a precise way (P 2018) . As such, the techniques are numerical methods. It is imperative to note that a statistical approach supports every mathematical solution and that numerical methods exist classified according to the type of mathematical problem.

The article shows the different ways in which numerical problems can be solved. As much as it enlightens the reader on the solution process, the article uses advanced calculations that may not be familiar with most readers. Moreover, the article does not show step-by-step methods that can help in detecting or correcting the formulas that the author uses. The author has failed in drafting and clearly explaining the methods involved in getting the correct answers. Additionally, there are no formulas that are stated before a solution is arrived at. The importance of having a formula is for the learner to understand the methodology used in attaining a particular result (P 2018) . Floating and fixed points in the article are not distinguished.

In summation, the article is very informative and is geared towards educating the learner. It introduces the reader or the learner to numerical computing. The article employs the use of figures and numbers to help the reader understand the discussion topic. Additionally, it describes what arithmetic operations are and their importance in numerical computing. However, the article has failed in as it uses advanced calculations that can only be understood by someone familiar with numerical computing. Furthermore, the article doesn’t show formulas and step-by-step operations that solve arithmetic computing. As such, the article only makes sense to advanced arithmetic computing students and not new ones as suggested by its heading.
