There are a number of issues that form the basis for the existing animosity and violence in the Middle East, particularly Israel vs. Palestine. Close to the end of the 1800s, there emerged concerns regarding the manner in which the Jewish people would counter and overcome the rising cases of persecution as well as anti-Semitism in Europe. Britain promised to help strengthen an independent Arab state, which included Palestine. At the same time Britain, through Lord Arthur Balfour, made the Balfour Declaration that pronounced the willingness of Britain to support the strong establishment of the Jewish national home within Palestine. This move created the conflict that is now being witnessed between the Arabs of Palestine and the Jewish Israelites.

I think the battle between Palestine and Israel is quite complex and difficult to solve. It may never end. For the battle to end it means either the Jews or the Arabs have to leave Territories such as Gaza, which is a difficult thing to happen hence the war may just continue. However, just as Psalms 34:15 (New International Version) provides, the two countries have to continue pursuing peace until it comes regardless the length of time it will take to realize tranquility. God has also set up the Jews for the war in order to get the Promised Land because they disobeyed Him. Judges 2:21 says, "I will not henceforth drive out from before them any of the nations, which Joshua left when he died." This includes the Gaza Strip. Furthermore, as Paul says in Romans 9:7 that Mohammed had ideas that completely were in contradiction with the Jews, the Arabs are set to always live in feud with the Jewish Israelites.
