Throughout this program, I have advanced my level of expertise. I am able to diagnose illnesses, administer and prescribe medication. Among the skills that I have acquired that will help me in performing these duties are critical thinking, decision making, problem-solving, sound ethical standards, better communication skills, and better interpersonal relationship skills. It is certain that when transiting my career role to Nurse Practitioner, l will be regarded as inexperienced, and I have the tenacity to face this while performing my duties to achieve excellence (LoBiondo-Wood & Haber, 2017) .
To ensure that the Nursing Practitioner profession upholds its high standards, I will work to uphold a variety of important qualities. The qualities include empathy, integrity, creativity, tenacity, and being enthusiastic while performing my duties ( Melissa, 2017) . Creativity demands flexibility to integrate new ideas and technology in my practice in problem-solving, which will help in generating unusual solutions to a challenging problems. Integrity will help me uphold the Nurse Practitioners’ fundamental values of honesty, and trustworthiness as well as acting within ethical parameters.

Additionally, empathy on the hand affirms a Nurse Practitioner’s kindness and authenticity in establishing interpersonal relations with the patients. The deep understanding of a patient’s condition from their perspective enables a nurse practitioner to genuinely respond in a manner that reflects that they truly care about the patient's wellbeing. Being enthusiastic as a Nurse Practitioner will help me to learn new things, gain the relevant experience and develop new approaches to solving challenges as they come. With these at hand, I will contribute to the profession by developing new methods of solving nursing problems. I will also contribute by conducting research studies that will better inform the profession.
