Marx viewed the structure of the society about its major classes and the struggle between them and the engine of change in this structure. The reflection of Marx for all changes in the shape of society, in political institutions, in history itself is driven by process of collective struggle on the part of groups of people with similar economic situations to realize their material and economic interests. Must labor and management live in a state of perpetual conflict? This has been the greatest impeder in the working sector, and solutions need to be sort as fast as possible. Marx concepts have tried to elaborate on this issue, and he states that the enemy responsible for the growth of an impoverished underclass and social instability is capitalism. The workers also experience estrangement or alienation from the world. The type of alienation that the worker's experience includes estrangement of the worker from the product of his work, the estrangement of the worker from the activity of production. Everything he/she does contribute to a world outside where he does not belong, and this has contributed to conflicts.

Capitalism divides society into two classes; the workers, who sell their labor to the capitalists who pay the workers a little amount and the capitalist who own the means of production an. In this arrangement, the workers suffer impoverishment and experience an estrangement. The workers must hand their productive capacities, their essence as human beings to another person and be rewarded accordingly. However, time and history have invalided many of his assumptions and prediction. Capital ownership and control of production have been separated. Most importantly, the conflict between workers and managers have been institutionalized through collecting bargaining legislation and the legalization of strikes. The conflict between management and labor can end if workers are not estranged from the activity of production.
