Artifact 1: HCIN 544 Transformational Leadership
Demonstrates the ability to lead a group of healthcare workers to bring about changes in health care systems to improve the quality of healthcare.
This assignment I completed in HCIN 544 is about Transformational Leadership and how it is the best form of leadership to bring about changes in the healthcare system. Transformational Leadership is a type of leadership in which leaders motivate, encourage and inspire employees to come up with innovative changes that will lead to the growth of the organization. It involves having a vision of the desired outcome, accepting the current reality and coming up with strategies to make health care delivery better. A transformational leader inspires confidence into employees, and through open communication, they can improve the morale of workers, increase their productivity and hence job satisfaction. Employees will feel like they own the work, and they are not being forced into it; hence they will treat patients well leading to quality health care.

Artifact 2: HCIN 544 Group Emotional Intelligence
Demonstrates the importance of understanding yourself and understanding other people to build a strong medical team where everyone performs the roles they are required.
This assignment I completed in HCIN 544 showed me the importance of Group Emotional Intelligence in a health care system. Group Emotional Intelligence is the norms or patterns of behavior that a group develops as they go about different tasks. A leader should be about to control and guide teams put together to do a specific job. To be successful, they have to try and understand each member of the group. Also, the members of the group need to understand each other to avoid petty confrontations and disagreements.
Artifact 3: HCIN 544 Security Governance Team
Demonstrates the importance of an organization having correct information, structure, guidance and leadership.
The Security Governance Team assignment in HCIN 544 helped me learn about the true definition of security governance and its importance in a health care setting. Security governances are practices and responsibilities taken by leaders to ensure the right direction of the organization, to ensure achievement of goals, predict and manage the risks. In risk analysis, the leader will identify risk, analyze the possible causes and help in ensuring the company does not go through the risks. From the assignment, I learned that a leader has more roles other than just guiding people. They need to be part of all processes of the organization so that they ensure all security guidelines are met in every aspect of the job.
