The schools are important agents of socialization as teachers get to inculcate morals and what the society expects from the child. For adults, the workplace can also be an important area of socialization as they can meet people from different cultures, areas of specialization, and race among others. Finally, the media is also crucial in enhancing socialization through its ability to reach a wide range of people at a time.

In my case, I think the school played the biggest role in enhancing my socialization skills. All through my education, I have met students from different racial, cultural, ethnic, and economic status and I have thus known how to interact with each of them.
