The choices made in day to day life reflect on a wide range of aspects that we love and give attention to in our lives. The value choices refer to the decisions made regarding a given issue based on the love and the level of worth. Defining a value choice involves judging multiple options to be able to select an appropriate option that is viable and relevant (Shafiee & Animah, 2017). The process involved in making choices focuses on personal feelings and imaginations regarding the real and factual options. The fact that freedom of choice helps to define the nature of individual choices made, it is essential to note that the love for what we do has a significant role in defining value choices in our lives. The process of making value choices is more psychological as it is based on what we perceive in our minds rather than the factual aspects and consequences of the choices.

When engaging in an analysis of the issue of making choices, it is necessary to reflect on the Pedro Arrupe Quote that focuses on defining the relationship between falling in love with what we do and the nature of choices we make. The quote maintains that love for a specific thing can impact on individual imaginations and ultimately affect the decisions made. The quote indicates that falling in love and staying in love can influence the decision-making process, thus defining the simple day to day choices (Shafiee & Animah, 2017). The fact that the quote portrays a close relationship between value choices and the aspect of falling in love is an important factor to note when analyzing the decision-making process. The imaginations defined based on our love for different aspects of life help in the process of making value choices. The term value choices relate to the fact that the choices are valued and regarded to be worthy.

Another critical factor to consider when reflecting on the Arrupe quote regarding value choices is based on the idea that what we love can shape what we must do in our day to day lives. In most cases, engaging in the day to day activities is defined by the multiple choices and options that we make on each activity. In that case, it is possible to determine the things people love based on what they choose. A reflection of the quote indicates that the things that amaze and enlighten us have a significant implication on our value choices. The quote provides an indication that is an individual finds enlightenment through reading books; the majority of the value choices align the aspect of reading a book. For example, an individual may spend most of the weekend indoors to create an environment of reading books that provide joy and enlightenment in their life.

The analysis of different factors regarding value choices and the attention towards different things in life are based on the ability to fall in love with several aspects in life. Falling in love, in this case, means the ability to adore something more than the available options and based on the consequences of engaging in the activity. The ability to fall in love with a given aspect is defined by factors such as interest and the imagination of the outcome of a specific activity. It is necessary to capitalize on asking individual questions such as "What do I love" as it is an important factor that guides towards defining the things we do. It helps one to understand the process of value choices and decisions. The things we love can absolutely shape the things we do consider that they are part of the realities of our lives.
