Mao Cultural revolution is a Chinese revolution that formed in 1966 and ended in 1976. The revolution was under the direction of Mao Zedong, who was a Chinese Communist Party (CPP), chairman. Reasons to form the Cultural Revolution based on Mao's wishes to renew the communist revolution spirit and rooting out of party bourgeois infiltrators. Reasons for Mao Cultural Revolution were for the chairman to be able to make leadership replacement based on the faithfulness virtue that supports his vision and way of thinking, to make rectification on the operations and how the Chinese Communist Party works, and achieve policy changes regarding health care, educational and cultural systems as well as to offer youths in China with revolutionary experience. 

However, there are reasons why the masses followed and supported Mao’s vision. First, the Mao Cultural revolution focused on educational institutions, which are the core aspects that support the community in terms of education provision and moral code enhancement. The educational institution's focus was through mass mobilization of youths on account that some public members who were against revolutionary were bourgeois with an ill motive to the Cultural Revolution. Second, Mao, through Red Guards, was able to mobilize youth and form associates coalition that carried out the Cultural Revolution. Through the leadership of his wife, a group of radical intellectuals was formed to rule the cultural realm and offer ideologies and security aspects that made the masses support and believed the leadership of Mao. Finally, the mass followed and support the ideologies of the Mao Cultural Revolution on account that the revolutionary had in mind education, historical relics, arts, and literature, as well as slogans and rhetoric influence on the Chinese cultural values. People believed in their culture and opted to support the revolution since their cultural norms were under the diminishing stake.
