Georg Simmel is a German sociologist and a philosopher. His fame has inspired all around the world as a result of his works in regards to his contribution to the sociological methodology. Despite having becoming influential in the United States when his work was translated; if given a chance to meet with him, as a sociology student will have a significant impact in my life in as far as my studies are concerned and likely to discuss a lot of issues with him. Among his great strength is the fact that he taught philosophy which makes him an excellent tutor. His social and personal interaction is inspiring as well makes him friendly to interact with. As a result, I am going to address the reason that makes me want to meet with. This will thus be a great opportunity that I will use to express my opinions on what I have learned and as well ask him questions where necessary.
Being an influential sociologist, Simmel will be a great mentor and of great significance to me. During the classes, I have always asked my self-several questions that are very personal according to his work. Meeting him will enable me to understand his philosophical and sociology viewpoint. Also, being a student meeting with Simmel will go as far as improving my self-esteem while still trying to find my way in this field as a student. As my role model, this will impact my studies positively. Although he is a professor and a legend in his field, I would love to know more about his lifestyles and how he managed to create his teachings and perceptions. I also love his work more and more and love how he argues in his teachings. In my views, this is the most important thing that makes me wish I could meet with him. Meeting him will, therefore, contribute a lot to my carrier while in school as well as after.

There are also many topics of interests that I may wish to discuss them with Mr. Simmel. These topics are major of affairs in my studies. His studies on the Modernization: urbanism as a way of life interests me more and the questions on how he came about to meet with Louis Wirth, an American sociologist. This topic had an impact on my studies, and there are some personal questions that I would love to address on the issues he discussed in the topic with Louis. The questions I would like to ask are like; can scientific modification sustain life due to the way of life led in the urban cities? These questions are tough to understand, and in my opinion, these questions can be directly responded and explain best by him due to the reason he wrote on the topic of Modernization. Also, another point of interest question I would like to ask and discuss with him is how life as a sociologist should be taken and considered and how to relate to other people around. These meeting will be a memorable encounter if given a chance.
In conclusion, my interaction with him will, therefore have an enormous impact on my education and even in my social life. Meeting with such person can be of great value to one's life and through such an understanding of what has been discussed in class should be ideal when well utilized. I have also learned to cherish such moments.
