Middlesboro is located in Bell County, Kentucky, United States. The city is located in the Cumberland Gap hence people believe that it was born inside a meteoritic crater (Klotter, (Ed.). 2015).The city has 7.6 square miles in which only 0.09 square kilometers is land and is connected to others by a four-lane link to Interstate 75 at Corbin and approximately 72 Kilometers to the northwest 

A census carried out in 2014 approximates the population to be 13,790. Each square meter has a population density of 192 people. The most common age in the city is 39.8. 50.91 % of the citizens are married while 14.5% are divorced. The majority of the people are white 94.21%, 3.10 %are blacks whereas the Asians, Latinos and others share the remaining percentage.

The city is blessed with natural resources among them gas, coal, and oil. Subsequently, they have led to the development of economy and industry for example mining and quarrying equipment companies, oil and gas operators, manufacturing and processing plants as well as the banking sector (Murray, et.al, 2015).

The Cumberland Gap National Historic Park CUGA is a tourist attraction site located at the corners of Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. The park is 24,000 so. Kilometers of which 14,000 are made up of the wilderness. The Appalachian Mountain is the city’s natural beauty which has thick vegetation, and it is home to many wildlife and vegetation (Wiley, 2014).

Middlesboro does have all the four seasons, characterized by abundancy in vegetation and snow during winter. It has an average temperature of 87 Faraday in July and 24 Faraday in January which are the warmest and coolest times respectively. More significantly, the city has the ever first community organic garden with sixty bed-garden whose purpose is to produce food for its citizens. Therefore, the Middlesboro city is a place to watch out for tourism purposes or permanent residence.
