Wrong Morals and Their Rationalizations

I remember taking a class tour as an opportunity to extort money from my parents. The charges were set at 5 dollars for the meals and transport, which is relatively low since the school has its buses. However, it was easy to convince my parents that the school bus was experiencing mechanical problems, and since the school required to hire another bus, each student was to pay 15 dollars, which was literally untrue. Apart from the 10 dollars given as pocket money, I had earned myself an extra 10 dollars. After all, it was my parents' money, and they entirely knew my honesty since I was a kid. However, I later learned that it was not worth it risking my entire, built for many years for the sake of money.

Cultural Appropriation

Cultural appropriation is wrong because, unlike cultural exchange, it do not involve power. For the cultural exchange to occur between two cultures, they have to occur on an equal footing ( Why cultural appropriation isn't cool , 2020). Cultural appropriation is said to take part when a dominant group derives the culture from the oppressed group. Since it continues the oppression of the dominant culture, it is, therefore, a bad thing.

The Ethically-Tinged Problem I Might Run into in The Future and Its Solution

In professional life, the staff is often enticed to participate in unethical activities like corruption. The majority fall into these temptations in fear of losing the job or being against the larger group. Since I already understand that in the presence of ethical issues, people might be unable to convert their decision-making abilities and awareness into correct choices, I would seek to be different (McCombs School of Business, 2019). I would let my reputation precede me so that everyone in the organization would know my stance towards unethical business practices, even when it means losing my job.
