The novel COVID19 virus has created significant short and long-term impacts, especially in understanding the mortality risks among different populations. According to Yanez et al. (2020), there is a disproportional mortality risk for COVID19 along age, where older adults (66+ years) are at a higher risk of acquiring the infection and succumbing to it. Furthermore, as data continues to be available, it is increasingly becoming clear that there are disparities in the mobility and mortality of the virus based on ethnicity, sex, and outdoor environments (Tian et al., 2021). It is, therefore essential to examine the risk factors for COVID19 in light of continuously updated information.

Research question: Is there a relationship between risk factors like sex and ethnicity and the mobility and mortality of COVID19?
