The main objective of working in the ER was to develop professional skills that will assist me in responding to emergencies as a nurse effectively. Working in the ER is challenging and requires a nurse to be quick when responding to patients. Each day spent in the ER is different; thus, as a nurse, one must be able to adapt to the changing situations. Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
My expertise as a nurse and medical professional was put to the test when one of the patients fell and hit their head on the table. The patient suffered multiple facial fractures and hip fracture. In such a scenario, the nurse is expected to act quickly by identifying the degree of urgency in administering treatment to avoid the injuries from being severe. Thus, to contain the emergency, the patient's pain score was identified as seven and morphine was administered immediately to contain it. Working in the ER can be challenging if the nurse does not respond quickly to emergencies.
