Nursing is a more satisfying career compared to other careers, furthermore, this career offers the chance for great opportunities and competitive compensation. In the next decade, the demand for registered nurses is expected to rise significantly according to statistics. Nursing is a continuous learning process hence life-long learning makes me an all rounded nurse. In my pathway to nursing, I enrolled for a diploma in nursing from a recognized nursing school where I became a registered nurse despite the numerous challenges I encountered along the way.
In the BSN program, I intend to blend both on campus and web-based learning to ensure I am fully aware of the necessary skills and ethical issues associated with nursing. Since most hospitals are interested in a bachelor’s degree in nursing, I will pursue this certificate and after completion, I will secure an opportunity with my bachelor’s degree in nursing. The nursing career is a busy one and considering am a mother of twins and I feel I have a calling in the nursing profession; therefore, I will become a school nurse to ensure I fit in with the schedule of my children.
