Nanotechnology: The Emerging Technology Taking the World by Storm

Professionals consider nanotechnology as one of the emerging technologies that are currently taking the world by storm. Nanotechnology is the manipulation of the matter on an atomic molecular and the supermolecular scale. The technology involves the building of machines and various components at a subatomic level. This paper, therefore, will exploit on nanotechnology as one of the new technology on social, cultural and political arenas. 

Different studies reveal professionals and individual have positively accepted and favored the use of nanotechnology. Professionals gave tried selling the technology as an important one that will bring positive impacts on their lives. The technology has also positively influenced people to mind, and interaction since is it used in various areas of human development. The use of nanotechnology has influenced human lives in that they can interact with each other through the use of technologies such as computers and cell phones ( Stamford, 2013) . On the same note, the development of this technology works in satisfying the social need of interaction on communication. Different organizations have also prospered for example medical institution also use the technology in the treatment of diseases such as cancer ( Bertrand, Wu, Xu, Kamaly, & Farokhzad, 2014). Similarly, nanotechnology has improved social interaction by allowing people to take part in social activities such as sports using prosthetics. On the same note, the technology is beneficial in improving security, especially when used in surveillance cameras. 

On the other hand, nanotechnology has affected different aspects of cultural lives and activities, for example, the sports personnel have used this technology in airing their advertisements. America is one country that has taken a leading role in using technology in different arenas. The cultural interactions and the technology had brought to the nation cannot be defined. For example, some film organizations such as Disney have used the technology in making their costumes. This is a clear indication that the entertainment industry that forms an important culture in the nations has accepted the developments and use of nanotechnology. The cultural aspects of promoting technological advancement and use of technology have also seen the use of this technology in cinemas, sports, and in displays across different shops and exhibitions as a cultural practice. On the same note, to show cultural acceptance of the technology different T V shows such as the Big Bang theory and various shows about medical practices also upholds the use of nanotechnology in different areas of human life. For example, the film Grey's Anatomy reveals the regular use of nanotechnology in coagulating or clotting of blood and in cancer cases ( Ilinskaya, & Dobrovolskaia, 2013). 

Political activities in the nation have also worked in promoting the development of nanotechnology and its use in different areas. For example, different administrations have used technology in varied areas such as surveillance, development of science and technology; use the technology in fight terrorism, and governmental organizations such as NASA (Wright, 2016). The ability of the government to promote the use of different technologies in different fields also prove that the political arena has accepted the use of nanotechnology in various capacities of human development in the nation. On the same note, different political aspects such as the presidents and their administrations have also functioned in promoting the development of technology in different capacities. 

The development of technology is another factor that has direct impacts on a country's economy. Studies have revealed that different organizations have adopted the use of nanotechnology in various ways. For example, the entertainment and sports industries are some sectors that have embraced the use of this technology ( Stamford, 2013) . On the other hand, research also shows that different organizations such as technologically driven sectors that work in making computers and other electronic devices use nanotechnology in various ways. Research has shown that the key players in development so f technology are the technology-driven organizations such as those that make phones and computers. Similarly, both individual organizations and the government have invested enough funds in research and development of technological advancements. However, organizations are the key players in researching and developing new technologies with the aim of satisfying consumer needs.

On the other hand, different countries have promoted the use of nanotechnology in making genetically modified food to help alleviate hunger in different regions of the world. The study also reports that nanotechnology is useful as an environmental conservation tool. The technology can be applied in the protection and treatment of water, thus conserving the environment. In light of this, the technology can be instrumental in ensuring that water consumption from these places is safe. 

Studies have revealed nanotechnology is one aspect that has influenced various aspects of the world; several studies reveal that the use of this technology is evident in political, social, cultural, and economic areas of human existences. On the same note, several studies have also revealed that the use of nanotechnology is important for the conservation of the environment. One cannot refute the fact that using technology can be detrimental to the environment since it leads to the deposition of harmful waste in the environment. However, the use of nanotechnology leads to preservation of water sources hence conserving the environment.
