Health-care professionals play a critical role while delivering medications to patients. Their role in medication health-care institutions is to give a medical prescription, administration, and monitoring for side-effects for drugs meantfor patients. Any preventable events caused by incorrect medication by the health-care professionals to the patient is referred to as Medication error. However, competitive and stabilizing blockers are the type of drugs that interrupt the transmission of a nerve impulse at the skeletal neuromuscular junction. Abuse of these two types of drugs can result in severe body organs damage (Litman,2018) .Most people abuse drug such as Cannabissativa , Cocaine, and Heroin by consumption without prescription from the doctor which is one of the challenges facing the Government.Injection of drugs that affect the cholinergic systems should be performed by only skilled and specified doctors, since if mishandled it can cause dangerous side effects to the body.
Neuromuscular blocking agents are considered to be among the most commonly used drugs during general anesthesia. They interfere with nerve impulse transmission which results in skeletal muscle relaxation. This situation may result in a disease called Hypothermia whereby the body temperature falls below 95 F (35 C). Acetylcholine, a chemical is known for monitoring neurons in the nervous system released for the activation of muscles, competes with Neuromuscular blocking agents. The neurological deficit, an abnormality of body functioning, can be decreased by the medication of inducing hypothermia. As a result of this medication, the body temperature goes back to normal or even above the normal temperature due to chemical reactions in the muscles, brain, spinal cord and the brain.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
We have witnessed people exposed to extremely low temperatures, especially in arctic areas, unable to speak or move normally and even loss of life at some point. Proper medication can help save the lives and sustain normal body temperatures not only in these polar and arctic regions but also to patients with Neurological deficit.
