New Nazca Lines have been discovered by drones on the Nazca desert in Southern Peru. The lines show great artwork which was likely made by the people of Nazca and their forerunners about 2000 years ago. Recently, archeologists have discovered more than 50 new lines with a large design. They mostly involve the culture of Nazca people. These newly discovered lines on the ground are almost as long as a football field. These discoveries on Nazca desert have greatly touched the work of archeologists. The findings have given them a great chance to explore and study more the culture of the Nazca people as they make further exciting discoveries. With these new discoveries, they are able to research on how the lines came to exist. Other smaller human figures which include warriors have been also been discovered. In 2015, a killer whale was rediscovered by Isla. As the Archeologists study and research on the discoveries, they are able to understand different cultures, the way ancestors lived and compare them with the current way of life.
The reason why I found this article interesting is because the new discoveries have fueled other new interesting and mysterious archeological discoveries. With the new technology, the Nazca lines will continue to evolve.
