The conceptualization of McCabes’s thoughts, ideologies, and arguments with regards to the perception of the urban political economy denotes the supremacy of governments, especially the American government, to establish an economically favorable environment for its citizens. The essence of achieving and living the American dream depicts the aspirations of several Americans inclusive of the immigrants. McCabe's has a sense of feeling that the capability of a government to appreciate the productivity of its people should not be reflected on issues of racial profiling and intersectionality concerns (McCabe, 2016). For instance, McCabe outlines the fact that the role of government in the development of the urban economy is quite crucial, and this is entirely based on their initiative to come up with housing policies to respect the values and fundamental rights of humanity. The concern that comes with the exclusion of people in the form of racial profiling or intellectual capability should be a platform for assessing the capacity of an American citizen to own a home.

McCabes encourages the aspect of saving culture as a requisite platform for laying out as a foundation for owning a home in the urban sector. In this regards, in as much as the challenges that come with huge deficits and the eventualities in times of acquisition of huge loans would compromise the popular belief of living the American dream, governments need to award its citizen the opportunities in a bid to create, enhance the culture of positivity and the determination to achieve greatness through owning a home (McCabe, 2016). The author also mentions the fact that owning a home in the urban sector also alleviates chances of financial complications that come and are experienced by the majority of people living in the urban sector. For instance, McCabes affirms that offering quality education for children has become quite expensive in the urban regions, and the need for the government to adjust property rates by reevaluating the housing federation policies would prove quite beneficial for the ordinary citizens who would want to own a home.

McCabe's perception regarding the context of wealth and the politics of homeownership is quite relevant to the urban political economy in today's world. The capability of a person to own a home comes with terms and conditions, and this is dependent on intersectionality issues and the nature of a business that a person does within the urban sector. Ideally, many youngsters have been questioned about their sense of credibility and potentiality of owning a home in the United States, not on the basis of racial categorization but on the nature of urban politics (McCabe, 2016). Conclusive financial scrutiny, the nature of a person's job, and his or her intellectual capability have always come out as the solid measures of determining the potentiality to own a home in the urban sector.

Ultimately, the essence of building wealth and upholding property values and the respect of the civic habits of homeowners need to come out as the requisite standpoint for determining the authority and the credibility of a person to own a home in the urban sector. Besides, McCabes enlightens the fact that building wealth is a moral requirement by every citizen in any given nation. Hence, the position of governments to rethink about redefining homeownership subsidies should take center stage not only as an appreciation of the sense of productivity of citizens but also as a strong pillar of respecting the civil rights of homeowners and those with the dream to own a home in the foreseeable future. The politics of the urban economy should focus on subsidizing homeowner but not establish federal homeownership policies that thwart the dreams of the citizens.
