Overall, I have learned a lot about nursing knowledge and care in this course. In the first module, I was able to learn the importance of nursing research as well as an evidence-based practice. Essentially, nursing research and EBP to nursing assist nurses in providing the highest quality as well as cost-efficient patient care possible.
In module two and three, we learned about nursing knowledge and the application of quantitative and qualitative research critical appraisal process. These modules helped me understand the stages of critical appraisal for quantitative and qualitative research and how this can be applied in the nursing field. The modules are valuable as they define how research in the nursing area can be conducted effectively.

Further, module four described how students could understand the guidelines for evidence-based clinical practices. Through this module, I understood the guidelines and how I can apply them in nursing research. In module five, I learned how to translate and apply the evidence-based knowledge from the evidence-based research data in the clinical practice. This is important in providing EBP in hospitals and enhancing patient care.
Moreover, module six was very crucial, as it helped me learn more about how to build and sustain an EBP clinical environment. This is concerned about the implementation of EBP in a clinical setting, and how to ensure that it is sustained in the long-run, and becomes part of the culture of the health facility.
Also, in module seven, we learned about the ethical considerations one must apply when conducting nursing research, as well as implementing EBP. Ethical consideration is critical in both nursing research and EBP implementation. Lastly, the last module assisted me in learning about self-reflection and how clinical staffs can be educated to disseminate clinical outcomes. Generally, each module was crucial, and it helped me gain nursing knowledge and how to apply this knowledge, such as EBP in the nursing field.
