Evidence-based practices are the conscious use of the available evidence in making a proper decision about somebody’s health needs. The EBP involves the integration of the clinical knowledge and experience coupled with the externally and internally available evidence towards making the proper decisions concerning a patient’s healthcare needs. The book on Nursing Research by Polit & Beck (2008 ) indicates the role that the National Centre for Nursing Research (NCNR) brought about in creating an atmosphere of practicality at the National Institute of Health (NIH). The question of using logic and intuition to treat patients to full recovery s a matter that has often sprouted in the practicality of EBP.
The application of logical intuition (P) in the EBP and the creation of a treatment process that is more appreciated by both the patient and the nurse body ( Polit & Beck, 2008 ). The intuition/logical application calls for the try and error approach (I). The nurse’s intuitions and logical reasoning have been found to e quite effective in large extents leading to the treatment and cure for some of the incurable ailments ( Greenhalgh, Howick & Maskrey, 2014) . The EBP calls for the use of the inductive and deductive reasoning in creating well-founded patient care. The logic practices in the nursing practice are found to be more effective than the theoretical knowledge (C). The nurse ability to follow through with their inductive intuition is known to have advanced the EBP principles and expounded the innovation and expansive research and knowledge base in the nursing profession (O).

Health organizations have strict adherence to the book policies. For instance, in the health care center that I work for, the strict following of the procedures and prescriptions is policies that all nurses must alleys obey ( Polit & Beck, 2008) . Such policies as the one in my workplace make it relatively hard for the nurses to advance their EBP practices through inductive and deductive intuition thereby throwing a blow to the EBP in the entire healthcare practices ( Echevarria & Walker, 2014) .
Through constant consultations, seminars and leadership forums, such barriers as the strict following of the organization’s rules can be overcome ( Hall & Roussel, 2016) . By allowing the nurses the room to advance their critical thinking process and the auctioning of their intuition to make the right decisions towards the patients’ health will be a sure channel towards the establishment of a robust EBP process.
