Nursing is one of the noblest professions in the world. Concerned with providing care for others and promoting wellbeing, the nursing profession plays a great role in the community and human health. I currently possess a Masters in Public Health in Health Systems Management, which is an area related to nursing. With this qualification, I have been able to work in the healthcare management capacity for sixteen years. During this period, I have acquired more experience in the matters of health systems management and public health as a whole. During this period, I have also worked closely with nurses in inter-professional coordination to promote health outcomes for patients. Besides, I acquired an Emergency Medical Technician certification many years ago. These qualifications and experience working within the healthcare sector have made me believe that working in the clinical capacity is something I want to do. Therefore, I am studying nursing because of the passion I have in this noble profession and desire to work in the clinical capacity. With the many experiences in the health systems management capacity, I have acquired adequate experience that I hope to bring to the nursing profession and help I promoting the health and wellbeing of the community.
Because I currently possess a Master's degree in Public Health and with an experience of 16 years, I believe it is now the time I bring my skills into the nursing profession. Added to the Emergency Medical Technician certification, studying nursing now is the right thing for me to work in a clinical capacity.
