Ludlow Massacre
This is understood as an attack on coal miners who were striking and their families by the Colorado Fuel, Iron Company guards, and Colorado National Guard. The attack took place on April 20, 1914, and it lead to 36 deaths, 25 of which were adults and the rest were children 1 .

He achieved this by constructing great retaining walls on one side and on the other side he build a beautiful driveway.

This is as a result of the efforts of Robert Speer who came up with initiatives on how to make the city beautiful. This is important today because leaders can learn from his works and apply his ideas in improving the lives of their people. The long-term effect of his works is that the city will continue becoming attractive for a very long time.
