A leader is someone who should focus on giving his or her team achievable goals and lead the team towards attaining such goals. According to me, I feel I have several core leadership values that have enabled me to stand tall amidst any circumstance. A good leader should have integrity by demonstrating ethical and moral strength (Stokes, 2017) . I believe I also have authenticity as I am transparent in beliefs, values and actions. Lastly, a good leader should have the courage to act with the intention of others with a common good. I believe I have such qualities and many others that make someone a strong and reliable leader.

Clifton Strength Assessment is an important tool that helps one to evaluate his or her leadership qualities and understand the areas that one is good at and the ones that they need to improve. I am an achiever, as I have very strong stamina towards work and always work towards achieving my goals in any means possible (Shaff, 2017) . I can control any situation at hand meaning I have a strong command trait needed for effective leadership. There is also the need to have effective communication which helps me to put my thoughts into words (Lee, 2017) . I am also consistent in working and ensure that what I have started have to be finished within a given timeframe. This is paramount as a leader as it helps achieve many goals set at a given time.

However, to become a strong leader, I am aspiring to be, I need to strengthen two core leadership values. These are becoming a strong developer and individualization. As a leader, it is vital to be a developer. This means that I have to spot any spot that needs improvement irrespective of how small the issue might be and strive to improve the area for the proper performance of my team and the organization as a whole. This will ensure satisfaction after such improvements. I also need to be including everybody in every aspect I am doing as it is paramount to involve every activity. This will help incorporate every person in the room for the maximum accomplishment of work and duties.
Development Plan
I am looking forward to becoming keener in every detail both during and after work. Assessing with scrutiny every work that team member. Understanding every weakness and strengths of every member will be easy to spot and improve the value of being a developer. Having regular meetings with team members will help me understand the areas they wish could be improved or changed to ensure maximum efforts in accomplishing the team’s goals. Secondly, such meetings will enable me to understand and appreciate the strengths and weaknesses of each team member who will be vital in ensuring that every member is working in areas where they are prolific. Such efforts will ensure that there is a state of comfort at the workplace and as such ensuring customers’ satisfaction. Therefore, it would be vital to have regular meetings and inspections at the place of work.
