My personal model of leadership involves channeling my followers towards achieving a common goal. To be a good leader, one has to acquire specific values and qualities in order to apply it in a professional setting, especially in the healthcare industry. Good leadership is essential for decision-making purposes, and I intend to make my personal leadership model in my profession by giving my followers a chance to air out their opinion and suggestions, especially when making important decisions. I would also use my leadership style to collaborate and empower my follower by encouraging them and mentoring their strategies and ideas. 

My personal model of leadership will focus on developing good communication channels between the leaders and subjects. This will enhance freedom between the two parties such that the follower will be free to respectively challenge the opinion and decisions of their leaders. I believe that encouraging freedom o communication will improve innovation in the healthcare industry.

My personal leadership models also uphold self-discipline and integrity. I believe these are important values, especially in the healthcare industry. For this reason, I wish to incorporate my model of leadership by initiating training and team-building activities. This activity will help my followers to build a relationship and get acquainted with each other. Training will also increase the knowledge of the employees, especially on the matters concerning health care and on ways to improve their services to the community. Instilling these values will definitely enhance healthcare services in communities and improve the relationship between the public and healthcare givers. My leadership model will also involve community service sessions and training sessions that will enable the public to interact with medical practitioners on both a personal and professional level. This will allow them to understand healthcare strategies and to be free enough to reveal any medical issue that needs attention. 

My personal leadership model could be compared to servant leadership as it involves interactive sessions between myself and my subjects whereby they are allowed the freedom to contribute to making significant decisions in an organization (Gandolfi, & Stone, 2018). I also believe that it could be servant leadership because open communication is allowed between the leader and subject. My leadership model also involves implementing strategies to motivate the workers, such as increasing their benefits and improving their wellness. This is a form of servant leadership as the benefit is meant to serve the followers. In this leadership structure, the leader is not allowed to make permanent decisions without consulting the employees first, especially if the critical decision is about them; this is a clear value of servant leadership. 

My personal leadership model could also be compared to transformational leadership as it involves influencing the employees through example, which is a significant principle of transformational leadership (Boamah et al., 2018). My personal leadership involves influencing the subjects through example. As a leader, I am not afraid to get my hands dirty in doing the groundwork, such as setting up tents for a healthcare activation. This will encourage my followers to do the same and promote the value of unity. My personal leadership model is also relevant when compared to transformational leadership because it involves inspirational motivation, which is achieved through motivation and empowerment of employees, and this is a major aspect and plan in my leadership model. I aspire to provide my employees with mentors, as they will give them the required guidance and insight on the necessary requirements to succeed in the healthcare industry. They will also act as a source of motivation and role models to the employees. 

  My personal leadership model could also be compared to the democratic leadership style. This is because it allows the employees and followers the freedom of expression, such that they are able t communicate freely with their managers and raise up issues if needed (Woods, 2020). My personal leadership model is in line with these qualities as I do not believe in dictatorship, and I believe that allowing a person to be themselves and not set exceptional rules and guidelines will motivate the individual to put more effort into their practices. 

I am a spiritual person, and I adhere to the teachings of honesty, integrity, and respect. I believe that in a work setting, one should be honest, despite being the manager or employee. This will enable the buildup of trust, and this contributes to the smooth running of the organization. Honesty is essential, especially in the healthcare industry, as this sector is all about saving lives, and any form of dishonesty or breach of trust could put individual's lives in danger. I believe that my personal world view of honesty is in line with my personal model of leadership as it requires the establishment of trust. Integrity is also a spiritual value I associate with personally and professionally. I have instilled this in my personal model of leadership by ensuring that my follower has the heart of doing good as per our medical clients and patients, This also helps in establishing trust and building a convenient and comfortable relationship with the client. 

  My religion is Islam, and this blends well with my personal leadership model. I believe that the Islamic teachings of peace have helped me in building and implementing my personal leadership model, especially in the healthcare industry. This has generally helped me in building conflict resolution strategies that involve dialogue as a form of peace-keeping solution. It has helped in reducing chaos and fights in the office. 

On the cultural view, I believe that professionals in the healthcare industry are supposed to be culturally integrated. My personal leadership model incorporates intercultural training that enables the employees to be in touch with multicultural aspects. This involves training in multiple languages as this will help them transition in case they are sent to work in a different region. It will also help the employees to respect other people's cultures as they will understand why their beliefs and cultural practices are important to them. 

  My professional leadership behavior can inspire other leaders to change their organizational structure to a democratic one or servant leadership. This is because the aspects of innovation and collaboration that are observed in my servant leadership model will guarantee the success of my organization, making us role models and inspiration in the healthcare industry. I also believe that my values of discipline are essential in the healthcare industry and any other professionals as it will promote respect within the organization. It will minimize unnecessary wrangles and disagreement in the organization, and this will ensure a smooth running of the company and harmony.  

My professional leadership behavior will also influence employees as I intend to lead by example. I believe the employees will emulate my values of integrity, openness, honesty, self-discipline, and kindness. I also believe that giving employees and followers the freedom of expression will enable them to integrate easily with the management without fear. I also believe in the spirit of teamwork without necessarily adhering to the levels of seniority as I believe as a team, we all work towards the same mission and vision. I believe that my personal leadership model and professional leadership behavior will ensure that my healthcare organization runs smoothly towards achieving its goals.
