The “New Drivers of Leadership” self-assessment document has been helpful in that I have learned how I relate to people. From the evaluation, I have learned I am good at designing definitive goals, avoiding procrastination, and appreciating everything I have. I also noted I adapt to my surroundings quickly, always concentrates on essential life aspects, and ensures I do not assume everything unless I am sure of it (Casse, 2014). Moreover, I am avoidant of being side-tracked ad always strives to explore new ways of executing my roles. Further, I help people explore their potential, a fast actor and thinker in scenarios mandating the same, and an excellent supervisor. Furthermore, I am always seeking new methods to better my output, an excellent problem solver, and I inspire people’s imagination (Nussbaum, 2015). I choose my actions carefully, lead by objectives, and can differentiate between trivial and critical choices. Finally, I encourage followers to be initiative and can work under pressure.

My driver score for energy is 3, for focus is 8, for speed is 5, and for challenge is 4. I do not agree with the driver scores from the “New Drivers of Leadership” self-evaluation kit because I am energetic and does not dislike challenges when presented with any. The self-assessment tool is beneficial because it helps me to understand my strengths and weaknesses. I learn how to optimize my strengths to influence excellent work from followers by using the qualities identified by the self-assessment kit (Bartley, 2013). Similarly, the evaluation tool helps me understand my weaknesses, which I can improve on for better leadership outcomes. Some of the measures I will take to improve my leadership competency include being more lively and engaging with my workers, exhibiting stamina in my leadership, and encouraging followers to compete healthily ( Kim et al., 2015) . Therefore, the “New Drivers of Leadership” tool is beneficial because it helps me understand my strengths and weaknesses, as explained.
