Philip Glass is one of the most talented music writers known through composing of songs. He was born in1937 and grew up in Baltimore. Glass, later on, studied at the University of Chicago. He was interested in the modern music in the case that he distanced himself from the "minimalist" label, which he considered as music with competitive structures (Glass, 1987).
On his interpretation, he classifies himself as a "classicist" which he believes that it has evolved stylistically. In 1967, Glass decided to return to New York and formed a group that its name was the Philip Glass Ensemble, which included seven members who used different types of instruments such as woodwinds, amplified and fed through a mixer. He is also diverse in the music industry and plays the keyboard (Richardson, 1999). Philip experienced such voluminous achievements, had an opportunity to perform in the house operas, and is described as the first large-scale triumph, culminated with performances and theatrical achievements.
