Prevalence of poverty in the third world nations has remained an unsolvable disaster that continues to deteriorate the human standards and economic welfare of those countries. A report from United Nations International Children`s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) shows that one person, usually a child under five, dies of hunger every 3.6 seconds in developing countries ( Beach, 2018 ). The prime reasons for this calamity emanates from corruption and poor governance, limited employment opportunities, poor resource usage as well as wars and unending conflicts ( Beach, 2018 ). As such, the main reasons for poverty are political and institutional causes not demographic ones.
Population explosion has also been viewed by many philosophies as a root cause of poverty because it hinders economic development and, thus, paving way for poverty ( Bavel, 2013 ). While this may be true, social factors are the ones that lead to both population growth and poverty and, hence, interventions need to be directed to these issues ( Bavel, 2013 ). Some of the solutions can be investment in education and reproductive health care, reducing child mortality and providing people with economic opportunities to reduce fertility levels.

New trends in world politics include: Volatility of international relations, soft power and digital diplomacy, leadership wrangles among countries on who to lead the European Union trade wars due to creation of barriers and creation of free trade areas among countries ( Word Politics Review, 2019 ). Global interdependence has many advantages. It fosters specialization which leads to creation of high quality goods. It also helps to address conflict as countries have to depend on each other for crucial products. Moreover, it leads to creation of employment, affordable prices for consumer and acquisition of technologies ( Raluca, 2010 ). It has disadvantages such impacting negatively on infant industries and national insecurity due to overdependence.
Antibiotics are so important for human survival. Serious diseases that killed thousands of youngsters in early 1990s have now ceased due to widespread use of childhood vaccinations ( America Academy of Pediatrics, 2019 ). Antibiotics are specifically designed to treat billions of pathogenic bacteria that occur apart from the harmless ones that live in mouth, gut, and skin. They complement the body immune system to successfully fight off strong microbes such as those causing meningitis, strep throat and tuberculosis, pneumonia among others.
