1. Describe your overall experience locating these primary sources. Was it challenging or straightforward? Do you learn anything interesting along the way?

The overall experience of locating these primary sources was challenging. I initially though that finding it would be straightforward and easy. Other sites had very easy search abilities and allow one to zero in easily on what they need. Trumans Library was difficult but there was so much information and documents and a lot to sort through.

I was able to locate a petition against the use of the atomic bomb circulated by Szilard directed towards President Truman. The keywords I used to search were Szilard and petition. The link that I found was http://nsarchive.gwu.edu/NSAEBB/NSAEBB162/34.pdf

4. Were you able to locate an interview with Lilli Hornig, a scientist who signed Szilard’s petition against the use of the atomic bomb? Share your search terms and a link to the primary source.

I was able to locate the interview with Lilli Hornig. The interview was located at https://www.manhattanprojectvoices.org/oral-histories/lilli-hornigs-interview . It was fairly easy to locate the interview because it actually popped up on its own. I had gone to the repository to try to find the source for the petition against the atomic bomb. However, when trying different ways of typing the search words, it popped up.
