Rationale
As an individual nurse, it is important to focus on the surrounding community in order to understand the target areas that require improvement. One of the major health issues is teen pregnancies. The cause of the unplanned early pregnancies is lack of information and education regarding sex among the teens. The result is that most young people engage in sexual activities without understanding the risks involved. To create a positive impact, I will conduct seminars to educate the young generation about sex. I will also provide a solution such as issuing condoms and other contraceptives to curb the case. With education and the medication, the expected result is that the cases of early pregnancies will reduce.
