Human health-related professions require a high level of discipline. The profession is supported by understanding the ethical decision-making framework. During my training, through class work, I was able to meet the essential moral standards that were helpful during the meeting with Congress. The meeting was set to provide measures to curb opioids abuse in the United States.
Concerning the mentally ill patient, professionally, I was able to understand that the stages of their illness differed. I recommended that regular checkup of inmates is essential. The number of mentally ill people is increasing. Before their conviction, the government needs to take them to a psychiatrist. Mental illness is a major cause of suicide in jails. The way physically ill inmates are treated even the mentally ill people should be subjected to equal health support (Culyer, 2015).

Opium drugs are used to treat patients with severe pain (Nizard & Maugars, 2018). A patient should not be allowed to administer medication on their own. Prescription of opium drugs should only take place in a hospital setup. Opium drugs that are accessible over the counter should be banned. The recommendation of using real opium abuser to campaign against it abuse is unethical. Every patient is entitled to privacy using somebody may lead to stigma (Hocking, 2014). It may also, discourage other users from seeking medical attention.
Class work experience elaborated on understanding the problem and offering solutions. The class work enabled me to understand illness characteristic theoretically. Real-world experience reveals the real features physically. Through class work experience was able to offer a solution to mentally ill inmates. My academic work enabled me not to support the use of a real person for a campaign (Chadwick & Gallagher, 2016). To me, it is professionally unethical.
