Completion of courses in subjects such as industrial psychology and conflict management can also be helpful. Some higher level jobs require a master’s degree in human resources, business administration (MBA), or labor relations in addition to years of related work experience (“Human resource managers,” 2018). Comprehension of human resource programs (benefit plans and compensation), understanding of human resource software, and local employment laws are important skills for the completion of a profession as a human resource director. In addition, interpersonal, speaking, organizational, decision making, and leaderships skills are must haves for consideration to the position of a human resource director (“Human resource managers,” 2018).
