The mental strength of individuals is vital in ensuring a prolonged and quality life. According to the YMH Boston (2013) video, the practitioner does well in the scope of both verbal and non-verbal cues of communication. She builds trust with the customer and allows him to be honest during the assessment. The practitioner aids the client in giving sufficient feedback on his feelings. The practitioner can improve on the time given to answer each question. I did not identify a single moment where information regarding the client's history background was discussed which is vital in the evaluation process. There are no compelling concerns in the video has the issue had been identified during the assessment and necessitates the provision of a treatment strategy. Subsequently, the next question would be concerning the assessment process. The idea of asking any concerns is to address any doubts that would be undermining the entire process.

A thorough psychiatric assessment of a child or an adolescent is essential as they are not good at reporting the nature of their signs and the timing and duration of their issues. Systematic clinical evaluations with children and adolescents require qualified, skilled, and experienced psychiatrists who can decipher clinical information for formulating a treatment plan (Pandey et al., 2018). A thorough assessment gives the psychiatrists a comprehensive detail of the emotional being. It gives access to the client's cognitive functioning and helps come up with the desirable solutions.

Children Global Assessment Scale (CGA) is a symptom rating scale that has been transformed from the original grown-up sort to serve persons aged 6-17. Its main aim of the scale is to rate the kid's psychology and cognitive functioning. However, it differs from the grown-up sort and consists of interview queries for children and adolescents and the parents or guardians. The CGA depicts the psychosocial situation of the age group. Additionally, the Devereux Early Childhood evaluation is meant for evaluations for persons aged 2-5 years; it assesses this age group's emotional and social progression. Information is gathered through several means, including in the school, parents, or guardians, to help decipher issues to do with depression, anger, or inattention. When the issues are identified, a psychological approach is established to elevate the kid's resilience to any issue emerging.

Psychiatric treatment options for kids are different from adults. According to Halfon et al. (2018), play therapy is one option that specifically revolves around kid play progression. The psychiatrist observes the kid's play activity with various items such as toys, puppets, and blocks and uses these items to assist the kid in expressing their complicated emotions. Play therapy makes kids comfortable when expressing their emotions. Clonidine is another treatment option for kids with sleep or hunger management issues for children and adolescents only (Olalekan et al., 2020). It aids in lessening anxiety attacks and psychic indications. However, it is also used to treat high blood pressure when used with other medications. It aids children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It improves their focus and how they control their actions.

The role of parents in kids' assessment is indispensable. Their opinions are considered to back the kid's progress based on observation. Parents should be involved from the start of the process and give the background information, health records, and various timings and duration of issues. They aid in planning for the way forward and the most appropriate and available solutions. Parents are part of the kid's growth and progression and help in highlighting any concerns. Psychiatrists involve children in their evaluations to create rapport and build trust with the child if only the child agrees to reduce uncertainty cases.
