Qualitative research plays an important role in health care. Quality health care is one of the major objective and goal of care in the current world. Over the years, constant research has been important in having quality health care. The value of qualitative research can be seen in improving the quality of research. It plays a significance role in critically identifying key issues related to care givers, the patients and the challenges that face care givers in improving their performance. Qualitative research has also been instrumental in helping health care givers understand why improvement in quality care does not occur. It has also been used in broadening the understanding of specific health issues that affects specific targeted population ( Holloway, 2015) . The making of better health care givers including clinicians and nurses also depend on quality research aided by qualitative research. Qualitative research will improve the quality of health care and promote a better understanding of health issues in the future.
Clinician when making decisions also rely on qualitative research. It increases the depth of their analysis of the issue at question. It also provides different angles of viewing things which therefore ensures clinicians make better and rational decisions ( Pope, Ziebland & Mays, 2010) . There are several ways that qualitative research can influence health care delivery. For example, in an area that has been marred by constant outbreak of diseases. It may be appropriate to conduct an effective research that would help understand several facets of the disease outbreak. A literature review of research done on the same and analysis of theories that may explain why the diseases may be affiliated with the group will help the health care givers have an effective blueprint of interventions to address the issue. Qualitative research will be able to improve the quality of health intervention that will be implemented on the affected population.
